A:It has the software to do it, but you must have the code. For example I just had a 2009 VW Jetta that we put a new ECM in. I was unable to get the code and had to send it to the dealer. If you can extract the code I am sure it would do it.

A:you can do and relearn function or tests it all depends on the oem ecu. if you cant access any of those functions then the problem is not the scanner.

Autel 908P. The docking station is nice since I can leave it on my toolbox all day. the screen is a million times better than the 908p and it also has more memory. This comes with the newest J2534 which is smaller than the one with the 908P and also has no antenna. Plus the elite is a lot faster than the mini. The layout on the elite is much more user-friendly as well. I don’t even use my mini anymore because the elite has more complete diagnostic capabilities.

A ear sir, as for the frequency of updating, you can update it once there is update of the car software and vehicle coverage, and you can still use it without updating to the latest version, and it is at least with 2 year free update and the updating fees are 800USD per year!
