1. Remove the RS-232 loopback adapter (P/N 02001606) from the storage case (P/N 02002971). Plug it into the RS-232 port.
2. Attach the Tech 2 DLC cable (P/N 02002952) to the VCI connector.
3. Locate the DLC loopback adapter (P/N 02002953) in the storage case. Attach it to the DLC cable.
4. Locate the NAO (P/N 02002972) power supply and appropriate power cord in the storage case. Insert the power jack into the Tech 2 DLC cable or into the bottom of theTech 2 next to DLC cable connector.
5. Turn on power by pressing the PWR button located on the GM Tech 2 key pad.
6. Car diagnostic scanner Tech 2 hardware is verified automatically by the POST Test.
7. Disconnect the RS-232 loopback adapter, the power supply, and the DLC loopback adapter and return to the Tech 2 storage case.

Download VAS 5054A ODIS-S 4.three.three on Windows 7 but had a problem:
Update file missing
ODS9011E
Infrastructure VW on-line connection. MirrorServer2:
The update just isn’t complete.
All required updates will not be obtainable.
Please speak to assistance.
I located a answer to resolve it by editing the lic. file – so that just vag "basic†merchandise are valid/active…. but you have got to provide this file to the installer in the course of the procedure, just swapping inside the offboard folder hasn’t solved my issue…
And after that, obviously there’s no full activation and not all brands but it appears you could run odis four.3.3 using the "basic vag brands†and with this installer plus the existing postsetups
Hopefully, guss could resolve this "problem†for us, to ensure that we’re totally activated with all the brands then

Hello to everyone. Now after we spent all our tests Tech 2 Scanner and made sure it is working then I will tell you how to do so that you have a connection with your computer and how to resolve rs232. Also, if your Tech 2 at the start of the car restarts will tell too.
To begin with, how to fix a reboot your Tech 2 when starting the car. The square dedicated native voltage Stabilizer, black spots, this is how it is better to feed on, immediately giving to drink block, then the main Board gently giving to drink lagged behind in her legs. By means of wooden toothpicks carefully remove the solder prepared under us new voltage regulator (mornsun VRB1205LD-15W DIP). If your Car Diagnostic Tool Tech 2 does not start, let me know and I will tell you how to fix it.
And here is how to fix the error rs232 and if its not there then an error connecting to the computer. Any chip series max232 sop, often instead max232 is max 202, the same principle, and they differ by the presence of protection. They cost a penny. Also it will not be superfluous to solder the connector pins around the max232.
As you can see, after all these manipulations my Tech 2 bought from www.obd2tool.com became full-fledged. Does not restart, connected to the computer can flash and programming blocks. Good Luck To You.

12.2017 XDOS Activation via Startkeycenter
This is the startkeycenter I used to activate 12.2017 Xdos with old keys. Move the folder to C:>PROGRAM FILES(x86)>MERCEDES BENZ. Launch startkeycenter from folder. Insert keys for xentry only. For DAS you should move the LIC.SLI file to C
ROGRAM FILES(x86)>MERCEDES BENZ>DAS>BIN which will activate it with no timeout. Blacklist is self explanatory which folders they should go in. I don’t claim any of this files…… I am just sharing which is what thisObd2tool.com is supposed to be about.
